We are now launching the first, simple search function to search the collections at the National Historical Museums!
For the first time since the museums moved into the same collection management system in 2018, you can now find updated information and media about the collections.
This first, simple search box that we now make available is a temporary search service that we have chosen to provide to offer the opportunity for our users to reach our collections while we work on the development of new, user-friendly and modern search interfaces during the year 2021.
This simple search box is a free text search that reads information in several different fields in our collection management system. For example, you can search for keywords and types of objects, materials, people, periods and years (some in English, but mostly Swedish). If you are looking for a specific item in the collections and know its item number, you can also search for this number.
